Election Day

Today I will be voting for the rights to life, liberty and property (a.k.a. the pursuit of happiness.) It is not always easy to do, but I am going to give it my best.

Hi, Beth,

Don't despair. Remember, voting for the rights of life, liberty, and property (a.k.a. the pursuit of happiness) is actually the easiest thing to do. What is not so easy is having the courage to defend these rights for all, and fighting to keep these rights from being controlled and destroyed by those who would want tyranny (collectivism, socialism, statism) over men.

I commend you in your grand effort to defend freedom, rights, wealth, and all that is good for mankind, through your blog. The struggle is well worth it.

By "not always easy to do" I meant that it can be tough to sort out which candidate best supports (or least harms) my ideals.
Well, my vote has been cast.
No matter who wins, I fear for our freedom, peace and prosperity. The majority in our country seem to think it is freedom and capitalism which have failed. For that reason, I grieve.
But, our country is still the freest in the world, and for that reason, I have hope.
